Due to the complete renovation of Grand Hotel Toplice, Julijana Restaurant is currently closed as well. In autumn 2027, we look forward to welcoming you back to its tables in a renewed setting, where timeless elegance, views of Lake Bled and refined cuisine will come together in a new story.

Restaurant Julijana (Grand Hotel Toplice) boasts the prestigious awards The Michelin Plate and Recommended by Michelin as well as 3 toques according to Gault Millau. When preparing the dishes, we use all delicacies that are expected of a high-end restaurant. These include, among others, goose liver, duck liver, and prime cuts of beef are a must. Try our award-winning local Bled menu, Rikli's vegetarian menu or the seasonal 4-course tasting menu.

Fresh, seasonal and local

The Julijana Restaurant kitchen works with all the delicacies one would expect in a high-ranking restaurant, such as goose and duck liver and the best beef cuts. Excellent locally sourced products, such as fresh local vegetables, dairy products and outstanding locally bred trout, also play an important role in our menu.

International trends with a local twist

We often participate in training abroad, where we can discover the latest trends, expand our horizons, learn from the best and find inspiration for new dishes. Our chefs then make these ideas their own by following their feelings and trying out different combinations. The creation of the menu is a team effort, with everyone contributing their inspiration and selecting the best dishes to star on the menu. We want every idea to be perfected and adjusted to the local environment.

The Julijana Restaurant is proud to hold the Bled Local Selection certificate, awarded to everything that has always been living and growing in Bled and its surroundings, in its people, in the land, water and air. The jury was convinced by our 4-course menu, in which they recognised quality, authenticity and an innovative connection with the local environment.

Traditional Bled dessert

The Julijana Restaurant also serves the dessert Bled is best known for, the traditional Bled cream cake. We follow the original recipe, which has been making life sweeter for the last 70 years!
