We would like to inform you that the Rowing Association of Slovenia, together with the World Rowing Federation and with the support of the Municipality and Tourism Bled, is organising the World Rowing Masters Regatta from 7 to 13 September 2026. The championship will be attended by approximately 5,000 rowers from 51 countries.
For the safe organisation of the competition, part of Lake Bled must be closed to navigation. Therefore, from Monday, 7 September 2026, until Sunday, 13 September 2026, a complete closure will apply to part of the lake, including the rowing course, the entire northern and north-western part of the lake, and the Velika Zaka bay.
The closure applies to pletna boats, tourist boats, SUP users and other watercraft, as well as swimmers. We kindly ask you to strictly observe the closure, as this is essential to ensuring the safe running of the competition. It also protects other lake users, as moving among the competing boats is extremely dangerous and may result in serious injury or even death.
The southern part of the lake, from the rowing course towards Mlino and Vila Bled, remains open for navigation and swimming.

Camping Bled among the 100 most sought-after campsites in Europe and the most sought-after campsite in Slovenia
The German automobile association ADAC has published the PiNCAMP Most Wanted 2026 ranking on its camping portal PiNCAMP, revealing the campsites that attracted the greatest interest among German campers. Camping Bled received two recognitions: as the only Slovenian representative, it ranked among the 100 most sought-after campsites in Europe, taking 83rd place, while also finishing first among Slovenian campsites and becoming the most sought-after campsite in Slovenia. Camping Bled impressed German guests with its unique location in the immediate vicinity of Lake Bled, well-maintained pitches, and the option of staying in glamping or family cottages.

Choose between 224 standard pitches, equipped with a 16A electrical connection, 19 premium pitches of a minimum size of 120 m2, equipped with water, sewage and electricity connections, and 1 Premium Relax pitch, size of 250 m2, equipped with a canopy over a wood-fired hot tub, with a terrace and water and electricity connections.
Shower and toilet facilities
Four toilet blocks offer everything a modern-day nomad could possibly need, including laundry and drying facilities. The campsite also has a family bathroom and a bathroom for the disabled. Modern private bathrooms available for rent.
Shop and bars
At the entrance to the campsite there is a well-stocked self-service shop and a restaurant with local and international culinary offerings where they also prepare meals that you can take away and eat in your accommodation in nature. A baker also visits the camp every day. We also recommend visiting Cafe Park where they serve you the Original Bled cream cake or excellent natural ice cream, and they also offer a diverse range of Slovenian and international dishes.

Bathing at Bled
Swim in Lake Bled! The Velika Zaka Beach with a restaurant and bar is located at the edge of the campsite. Bathers can also bathe at the Castle bathing area. In the colder months, you are invited to Waterpark Wellness Živa in the Rikli Balance Hotel, which offers thermal pools and an indoor slide.

- A special shower for dogs is located in toilet and shower building 2. Dogs must be kept on a lead and walked outside the campsite. Dogs must not be left alone on the pitch, in the caravan, trailer or tent, but must be supervised at all times. We accept a maximum of 2 dogs per pitch.
Guests can only pay their invoice in euros. However, foreign currency cannot be exchanged at reception.
