The San Simon beach lies on a green bay where an ancient Roman port once stood, as can be seen in the mosaics still visible under the water today. Access points to the water are arranged from the pier on the beach. A large part of the beach and bathing area is overgrown with pines and acacias, which provide pleasant natural shade. In the colder months, water fun moves from the beach to the indoor pool at Hotel Haliaetum.
