Documents published on this website may only be reproduced for non-commercial purposes while retaining all of the notices regarding copyright or other rights and may not be copied, reproduced, or otherwise disseminated for commercial purposes. Sava Turizem d.d. shall safeguard all acquired data about website visitors in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act and other Slovenian and European legislation. By submitting personal data using the information or booking form, the website visitor agrees that Sava Turizem d.d. may use this data for its internal needs of statistics and data processing, whereby the company undertakes not to provide the data to third parties or companies with the aim of commercial exploitation of personal data.
Website visitors voluntarily provide their personal data and allow Sava Turizem d.d., Dunajska cesta 152, 1000 Ljubljana (data recipient), under the trademark Sava Hotels & Resorts, and its related companies, to collect, use, and process their personal data (i.e. collecting, acquiring, recording, editing, storing, adjusting or modifying, retrieving, viewing, using, disclosing by transmission, communicating, disseminating or otherwise making available, classifying or linking, blocking, anonymising, deleting or destroying), in particular for the following marketing and communication purposes: segmentation, modelling, consumer profiling, submitting offers, advertising material and communication via mail, email, phone, SMS (also for the purpose of remarketing – using targeted ads via email and/or social networks) in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act. The company may store and use the personal data of website visitors until a written cancellation.
The website visitor agrees that their personal data may be used for direct marketing purposes (as defined previously) for an unlimited period of time or until they submit a request to stop the direct marketing activities.
All website visitors have the right to inspect, transcribe, copy, supplement, correct, block, and delete the personal data relating to them.
Our website offers two ways to book our accommodation.
The first is using the inquiry form whereby we send the user an offer based on their inquiry. The inquiry or our offer alone do not count as a confirmed booking, since the essential condition for the validity of the application is that the booking or our offer are confirmed by the user or buyer. If we do not receive confirmation, it is considered that the booking was never ordered.
In addition to the aforementioned method, our own online booking system also offers the possibility of direct booking (booking only, whereby the buyer enters their credit card information as a guarantee) and booking and payment with a credit card online (in the case of a non-refundable booking, meaning a non-refundable prepayment where the buyer is charged immediately). In this case, the booking will be confirmed and paid as soon as the buyer completes the payment process.
In the case of online bookings and/or payments, it is considered that the user/buyer read these General Terms and Conditions and agrees with them.
Online purchase/booking procedure
In the purchase procedure, the user (buyer) can take the following technical steps:
- The buyer selects the accommodation.
- The buyer selects the number of persons and rooms.
- The buyer selects the type of rooms and the price list or package.
- The buyer enters the required personal data, credit card information, and reviews the selected booking.
- Upon making a booking or purchase, the buyer will receive a message about the booking being made and confirmation of the credit card charge (in case of prepayment) to their email address. The buyer will receive the invoice after the completed service, at the reception desk of their destination.
Depending on how they access it, the user can enter the booking system at various steps where the individual booking criteria are already pre-selected.
Technical steps for concluding the contract
Step 1: Accommodation selection
The user or buyer selects their accommodation at the website.
Step 2: Selecting the number of persons and rooms
In this step in the online booking system, the user or buyer selects the number of adults and children and the number of rooms. If the number of adults or children does not match the capacity of the rooms, the system warns the user that the configuration needs to be changed.
Step 3: Selecting the arrival and departure dates
In the third step, the buyer selects the desired arrival and departure dates according to availability. Dates highlighted in black are not available.
Step 4: Selecting the type of room and the price list or package
In this step, the buyer selects a suitable type of room and a price list or package. Under the “i” mark, they can check the conditions of the selected price list or package. The system displays the final price with VAT included.
Step 5: Entering buyer data and reviewing the selected booking
Step 5a: Making a non-refundable prepayment
If the price list with the condition of a non-refundable prepayment is selected, the credit card is automatically charged upon confirmation of the booking. In this case, the guest receives confirmation of the booking and the credit card charge at the entered email address. In the event that the credit card cannot be charged, the system notifies the user that the booking was not successfully completed and sends a message about the failed transaction to the entered email address.
Step 5b: Payment at the destination (booking only)
If a price list or package with the cancellation option is selected, the user’s credit card is not charged upon confirmation of the booking, but only serves as a guarantee for the booking and is charged only in case of late cancellation or non-arrival costs. In this case, the guest receives confirmation of the booking at the entered email address, and they make the payment at the reception desk of the destination.
Step 6: Purchase completion
Upon making the payment or receiving confirmation of the booking, the purchase is completed.
Technological means for identifying and correcting mistakes prior to placing an order
Prior to submitting the order, the user (buyer) can use the graphical interface to simply, easily and with immediate effect:
see and review the services they want to purchase;
see and review the price of each service and the total price of the entire selected service according to the selected number of persons, rooms and package or price list;
change the selected number of people, number and/or type of rooms, package or price list and thereby calculate the new price of the changed selection;
change the selected payment method (where available).
Upon final confirmation, the buyer submits their order to Sava Turizem d.d., which will send a confirmation of the receipt of their order to their email address.
In case of an incomplete or incorrect input, the user interface will notify the user and instruct them to correct the errors.
Submitted bookings (purchase contracts) are stored electronically on the ROS Information System server. The buyer will receive a message containing the contents of the booking and the invoice (if a non-refundable prepayment was made) to their email address. The buyer may keep the received messages for their own reference. A copy of the purchase contract shall be kept in accordance with the statutory retention period and shall be accessible to the buyer in electronic form following a prior written request.
Pricing and descriptions of packages and services
All prices are in EUR inclusive of VAT and apply at the time of order confirmation. We reserve the right to make mistakes and changes in prices, written text and content descriptions without prior notice. The images are for illustrative purposes and do not always fully reflect the actual situation.
Guests have the right to cancel their bookings. If the guest cancels the arrangement, Sava Turizem d.d. has the right to a reimbursement of the costs arising from the cancellation, which means the full amount of the payment made in the case of payment by credit card via the Internet where the buyer is charged immediately. The amount of the reimbursement of the arrangement cancellation costs depends on the time when the guest submitted the cancellation and on the selected type of booking and accommodation. The terms of cancellation and cost reimbursement are set out for the buyer’s review at the following points (because they differ depending on the type of booking and the selected accommodation/destination):
- when selecting the type of room and price – the information is accessible by clicking on the info icon located next to the type of room;
- when the type of room and price have already been selected – the information is accessible by clicking on the info icon located next to the type of room;
- prior to the final confirmation of the booking, when the buyer has to agree to the Terms and Conditions (the Terms and Conditions have a link that leads directly to more detailed information).
If the arrangement is changed at their own request or due to force majeure, without any reasons therefor at the side of Sava Turizem d.d. arising from inadequately rendered service, the guest has no right to claim any compensation or price reduction. Guests must communicate their cancellation by phone, in writing, or by email to the address of the booked hotel or accommodation, or to the reservations office of Sava Turizem d.d., Dunajska cesta 152, 1000 Ljubljana.

Sava Turizem d.d. or the related destinations Sava Hotels & Resorts may refuse to fulfil the obligations arising from the booking if they discover that the provided credit card is invalid or that the credit card or booking system are being used fraudulently.
Any disputes between the parties arising out of or in any connection with a booking shall be settled by mutual agreement. Should that prove impossible, the dispute shall be resolved by the competent court in Ljubljana.
The service provider employs appropriate technological and organisational means to protect the communication and storage of personal data and payments. To this end, the service provider uses a 256-bit SSL certificate issued by an authorised organisation.
Secure authorisations and transactions involving credit cards are handled by Elavon. Credit card authorisations are performed in real time and the data is immediately validated by the banks. Card information is stored in the booking system and in the ROS Information System.
The general provisions of purchase or booking via the Internet have the character of a contract. By purchasing or booking, the holder confirms that they are familiar with these general provisions and that they agree with them. Paid funds cannot be returned in cash. Any disputes arising from these general provisions shall be settled by the competent court in Ljubljana.
Use of the data
Sava Turizem d.d. shall safeguard all acquired data on guests in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act. It shall be deemed that the guest agrees to the use of this data for the purpose of statistical processing and to be notified about the offer (as previously defined). If the guest does not want this, they may state so when registering.
VAT is already included in all prices of Sava Turizem d.d. Any disputes between the parties shall be settled by the court of subject matter jurisdiction in Ljubljana.
