The rolling hills of Prekmurje are suitable for everyone, even if you do not exercise regularly. After climbing Vučja Gomila and taking in the view of the vineyards and fields, the route will take you past Lake Bukovnica with its 50 energy points, through the village of Filovci, which boasts a long tradition of pottery, and past the Jože Plečnik-designed church in Bogojina.
The ascent to Grad makes this a difficult route, but one that is still easily managed by people who are at least slightly physically active. We recommend making a stop at Lake Lendava and visiting the Ferencovi agritourism farm in Krašča, where you can see their collection of old farming machinery. Before returning, you can also stop at the Smodiš farm, where you can refresh yourself with Prekmurje delicacies while enjoying the view.
The route is easily managed by somewhat well-prepared recreational cyclists. The sights include the Goričko Vineyard Centre in a former farm; the Rengeo farm, where you can sample local Prekmurje products; and the educational forest trail that passes the Rotunda in the village of Selo. There are also plenty of opportunities to take a break, so the route is perfect for everyone interested in beautiful views and natural sights. The route includes a number of medium-length ascents and descents.
