Hygiene Standard Plus

What is Hygiene Standard Plus?

We have introduced a number of safety and protection measures, collectively known as the Sava Hotels & Resorts Hygiene Standard Plus. The Plus means that we have taken the hygiene recommendations issued by the National Institute of Public Health and upgraded them. In addition to giving our guests the option to receive a personal protection kit, which contains a protective mask and disinfectant, we also pay additional attention to surface disinfection in the rooms, with the technology used being 100% effective against coronavirus. This way, you can truly relax and devote all your time and energy to just enjoying your holiday.

Upgrades to Hygiene Standard Plus:

Is it mandatory to meet the Recovered/Vaccinated/Tested condition and wear a face mask for entry to and accommodation in hotels?

Organisation of PCR and rapid antigen testing

Q&A

Technology for 100% reliable room disinfection

For the 100% reliable disinfection of our accommodation facilities before the arrival of each new guest, we use NF EN 14476:2013 + A2:2019, the most up-to-date technology, which has been certified as effective against the coronavirus 229E. A special nozzle is used at just below ceiling height to spray the solution throughout the room, completely and thoroughly disinfecting every part of it, including the furniture, walls, and floor. The solution is harmless to humans. Guests can enter their fully disinfected room after just a few minutes.

Going the extra mile for safety and protection:

  • Maximum room disinfection using the most up-to-date technology that has been certified as effective even against the coronavirus – 229E – NF EN 14476:2013 + A2:2019
  • Protective package for each guest

  • Contactless, sensor-operated hand disinfectant dispensers

  • Intensive disinfection of 8 solid surfaces in the rooms
  • Thermal imaging camera for measuring body temperature

Disinfection of the most exposed surfaces

In our hotel rooms, we have identified 8 surfaces that guests most commonly come into contact with. We make sure these surfaces are cleaned, sanitised, and disinfected particularly carefully and more frequently. After the room has been sanitised, the door is sealed with a special sticker signalling thorough cleaning. The room keys/access cards are sanitised for each guest, and safely handed over to the guest. The TV remote control is packed in a protective bag, which is replaced for each new guest.

All for one and one for all

In addition to providing a personal protection package containing a face mask and sanitising wipes for each guest, we also encourage our guests to adhere to the following expert recommendations from the National Institute of Public Health. Keep a distance of at least 1.5 m from other people at all times. Wash your hands regularly or use alcohol-based sanitizers if water and soap are not available. Do not touch your eyes, nose or mouth. Practice good cough and sneeze etiquette. Close personal contact (e.g. shaking hands, hugging) increases the likelihood of infection. Wearing a protective face mask is recommended at least in enclosed spaces.
