Lendava, a town with over 800 years of tradition where Slovenians, Hungarians and Croats live side by side, gives this region its distinctive character.
This was once the location of the Amber Road but the amber has today been replaced by thermal mineral springs, excellent cooking, top quality wines, cycling, canoeing, hunting and fishing in and around the picturesque branches of the Mura River.
