We feel the same way. That is why we recycle more than half of our generated wastes each year, reduce the use of energy and water from year to year, invest in the development of the local environment and give precedence to domestic suppliers. Our products are also developed in accordance to the above principles. We are proud to present our offer of green meetings. Because we care about what happens tomorrow.

► Green conference package

Together for decreased CO2 emissions: The conference area will be illuminated with natural light to the greatest extent possible. The temperature will be adapted to the natural surroundings, and therefore the temperature will be somewhat lower in the winter and somewhat higher than usual in the summer. We live in an environment with four seasons. Let’s experience them!

Travel tips: In order to generate as little emissions as possible during your trip to Bled, we offer: - transport for individual participants from the airport using a personal vehicle that runs on natural gas, - organised group bus conveyance to the event, - a 10% discount on the package price for each participant arriving by train or other public transport means (valid ticket required as proof).

 One nil for the Green Team

This time, the Green Team faced up against the Careless Team. Following intensive training preparation with the strongest attention placed upon the concern for the natural and social environments, quality of life and the satisfaction of team members, the Green Team now feels reborn. We used new defensive and offensive tactics for maintaining natural resources and decreasing the effects on the environment, throwing the Careless Team off balance. Another convincing win for the Green team!

Instructions for participating at green meetings:

1. The Green routes are routes with public transport or environmentally-friendly transport means: You can travel to Bled by train and take advantage of our bus transport offer. If you arrive by car, don't travel alone. Ride with other participants in automobiles with low carbon dioxide emissions.

2. Green driving means driving according to regulations: Lower speeds represent less use of fuels and consequently, less carbon dioxide emissions.

3. Green luggage should be adapted to the season: Take an extra sweater with you in the winter. You will have more energy in less heated spaces. You will not be confronted with winter conditions in the conference halls and rooms in summer. Excessive temperature variations are not healthy for you or the environment.

4. A green companion is tap water: The litre of water you would have to perhaps purchase on the road to quench thirst uses as much energy as a litre of petrol. Fill bottles with tap water: The water in Slovenia is clean and drinkable! You will also be served tap water at the conferences.

5. Green living means using a towel or two less: The towels in your hotel room will probably be enough for your needs during your stay. You don't replace your towels everyday at home do you? Don't throw towels on the floor (meaning you want them replaced) until it is really necessary. This contributes to decreased energy and detergent use.

6. Green snacks are based on local beverages and dishes: Wherever you may be: refresh and invigorate yourself with local beverages and dishes. Not only is respect for local providers a significant principle of sustainable development, this prevents a carbon footprint increase due to long international transport routes. We will also offer you dishes from local providers within the local environment.

7. The green conferences are held in event rooms and not in the hotel rooms: When you leave your room, do not leave the lights and devices on. Turn off all electrical appliances. These devices also use energy during the ready stage. Save energy in this manner! Before leaving your room, also check if all faucets are tightly closed.

8. Green wastes are separated wastes: Decrease waste quantities and separate those you do generate. The conference rooms are equipped with trash bins for separate waste collection. Don't take printed materials you do not need. Throw those which you have already used and no longer require in the paper collection bin.
