Easy hiking trip: The Martuljek waterfalls
A picturesque hike to the Triglav National Park area which extends under the mighty Mt Špik is an inspiring trip from the very beginning where visitors can see crystal clear water. Further on, the path leads through a gorge and then over a set of wooden stairs and bridges, past the first Martuljek waterfall. The water of this mighty waterfall falls over a 40m cliff and enchants virtually every mountain hiker.

Hiking trip: the Triglavska Bistrica Trail
In 1995, experts from the Triglav National Park set up a trail through the Vrata Valley with the aim of demonstrating interesting Alpine forest ecosystems and natural heritage of the Valley in an approachable way. This guided tour along the Bistrica brook will take us to the following sights: the Peričnik Fall, Galeria, Poldov Rovt and Turkov Rovt, and finally to the Aljažev dom mountain hut and the St. Cyril and Methodius Chapel under the northern face of the highest Slovenian mountain – Triglav.

Hiking trip: Meadows of Lipanca - Debela peč
This mountain hike starts at the Pokljuka mountain plateau. First, the path leads through the famous Pokljuka forest but it soon (after approximately 40 minutes) takes us to the mountain hut on the Lipanca mountain pasture. From there, there is a wonderful scenic view over the entire Pokljuka plateau and southern mountain pastures of Bohinj. There, hikers will be able to take a short break and enjoy refreshments. Those less daring (which translates as: those less fit) can wait here for those who choose to continue the hike and climb to the top.

Mountain Hike: Baron's tunnels - Gems of the Karavanke mountain range
This hike is suitable for families with children over the age of 10. The hike starts at the Church of St. Anna, which is a small church near the Ljubelj border crossing located at an altitude of 1050m. Initially, the mountain route leads through a forest and continues along a scenic route called the Baron Born route (pot Barona Borna). After a 20 minute hike we will arrive in the heart of the massive southwest wall of Mt Begunjščica featuring the famous tunnel.
