At Terme Banovci, you can relax in differenty types of massages, baths, the prettiest world of saunas in the region and treat yourself to body and facial care.
The Terme Banovci thermal spas have been a well-know balneological centre for decades, both to the local inhabitants and the Slovenians in general, and the word has now spread beyond Slovenian borders. Not many health resorts can offer its patrons, tourists or patients such a range of possibilities as Terme Banovci.
Nature has generously bestowed on Banovci not one but two types of thermal-mineral water, which are tapped from two different wells and differ in both temperature and chemical composition with different effects for the users. One water source is rich in paraffin components and the other in CO2, which, in addition to the heavy saturation with minerals, is the foundation of the approach to treating different ailments. Following extensive medical research, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Slovenia issued a certificate for the said water stating that it is a natural remedy classified for therapeutic purposes.
The indications for medical treatment at the Terme Banovci thermal spas is recognised for skeletal, joint and muscle problems, post-operative conditions on the former and for orthopaedic, traumatological and rheumatological conditions. They are secondarily recognised for conditions following damage to the peripheral nervous system, obstructive and constrictive diseases of the peripheral vascular system and gynaecological problems, abdominal problems such as chronic infections, adhesions and postoperative adhesions.
Counter indications for treatment with our thermal-mineral water are: irregular hypertension, cardiac disease without prescribed therapy, conditions immediately following myocardial infarction (up to one year), conditions following stroke (up to six months), phlebothrombosis with infection, inflammatory rheumatism, malignancy, infectious diseases and other general medical counter indications for balneological treatment.
